Rancang Bangun Smart Box Sterilizer Berbasis UV-C dengan Mist Maker dan Kendali Otomatis

Abstract

Penyebaran mikroorganisme melalui permukaan benda mendorong kebutuhan solusi sterilisasi yang efektif dan minim kontak. Penelitian ini merancang dan menguji Smart Box Sterilizer berbasis UV-C yang dipadukan dengan mist maker (berbahan hand sanitizer 70%) serta sistem kendali otomatis menggunakan Arduino Uno, sensor penghalang IR, servo, dan LCD I²C. Pengujian meliputi :jangkauan deteksi sensor IR,kinerja servo (sudut dan waktu buka/tutup), karakterisasi irradiansi UV-C dan estimasi dosis, serta efektivitas reduksi bakteri pada tujuh benda sehari-hari. Pada kondisi uji utama, irradiansi terukur sekitar 1,01 mW/cm² dengan durasi penyinaran 90 s (dosis ± 90,9 mJ/cm²). Hasil menunjukkan sensor IR efektif mendeteksi hingga ≈4–5 cm, servo membuka/menutup ≈60° dalam ≈2,5 s, dan rata-rata reduksi bakteri mencapai ≈68% (tertinggi ≈87,5% pada salah satu objek). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa rancangan mampu menurunkan kontaminasi mikroba pada permukaan benda dan beroperasi secara otomatis tanpa kontak langsung.
