Abstract

The entrepreneurial process can be divided into three major phases: prelaunch, launch and postlaunch (Baron, 2007). The prelaunch period encompasses recognition of opportunities and initial evaluation of these opportunities. The second stage, entrepreneurs choosing a legal form for their new companies, developing initial marketing plans and an overall strategy for exploiting the recognized opportunities. The third phase, entrepreneurs shift from dealing mainly with ideas and plans to running a functioning company, such as handling conflicts, conducting negotiations, and influencing and motivating others. The aim of this research is to find out the role and leadership style in three major phases of the founder PT Fontainne Fullbright Indonesia. The method used in this research is by using qualitative method such as interview and documentation. Subject in this research is a founder of PT. Fontainne Fullbright Indonesia. The result of this research shows that founder of PT. Fontainne Fullbright Indonesia demonstrates different leadership style and roles in each phases of entrepreneurial process.
